Aleph Quintet, an amalgam of North African music, jazz, Gnawa rhythms and Sufi Culture, is one of the revelations of the Brussels scene. Their first album Shapes of Silence records a true fusion of its elements, carried out in generous spirit by five musicians, a masterly debut applauded by critics. Two prestigious guests: Manuel Hermia and Fabrizio Cassol (Aka Moon) make an appearance to raise the album’s radiance further.
